Inspieration
Inspieration - the Friends of Boscombe Pier was officially formed in September 2008 following the ratification of the constitution
at the first open meeting held at The Chine Hotel.
Since then we have successfully offered support to grant applications for the sea front,
and used our voice to stop developments on the pier not in line with our collective view.
With ever increasing interest in Boscombe seafront and with the development of the
surf reef our membership is continuing to grow.

Seating
Many of you have raised the problem of seating on the Pier and we have this in mind. We are currently exploring options with the Council to see what they can provide. Commemorative benches are also an option but the cost is quite high. Currently the committee does not have sufficient funds to purchase one but we are considering this as a fund raising theme for next year. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or would like to let us know.
Membership Discounts
We are currently seeking discounts for our members at local outlets
